In 2019, when the cyberspace is revolutionizing against every
known conviction, also clothing acts almost like AI’s (1). Thus
questions like ‘What do we need and how do we want to live?’
lead directly to asking ‘What do they (the garments) need and
how do they wanna live?’. These questions become essential and
necessary to re-contextualize.
What use is it to create jet another collection inspired by XY
to be sold at YZ? The life as a young designer is by far more
complex than that and most of the time reality scratches on our
existential needs!

 

M U S E S is my first work going the furthest away from
conventions, neglecting the picture of how designers should form
their work and concepts. This is my personal attempt to create a
series of figures, driven by base interests and ideas of mine
like my Hispanic heritage and a mix of main influences from my
adolescence, but wading towards the greater goal of an
oscillating network.

 

This network revolves around collaborations in the performing
arts field (for instance Agnes Varnai, Budapest, Stefan
Cantante, Vienna and Urska Preis, Ljubljana). Because of its
manifestation on stages, the network also knocks on the dusty
door of the neverending issue on “fashion VS costume”. With a
cheeky smile on its face.
