The publication created with book artist Johanne Mortgat Shan and graphic designer Dariusz Wekwert is part of my ongoing research project MAPA, exploring migratory experiences and intra-colonial memories through contrary cartographies. Divided into three parts, the book unfolds through personal stories, diaries, and poems — a layered and at times chaotic composition that reveals a deeply personal and complex story.
Text and imagery intertwine with the broader framework of MAPA, where cartography is reimagined through performance, poetry, and personal narratives.
